Working Together for the Jennings Community

At Heinen Wellness of Jennings, we believe healthcare works best when it works together.

Our goal is not to replace or compete with the incredible physicians, nurse practitioners, specialists, and healthcare organizations already serving this area. Instead, we are committed to becoming part of a connected, collaborative network of care—one that puts patients first and strengthens access for the entire community.

In rural communities like Jennings, access to care can be limited by distance, availability, and the number of providers. Studies show that when local providers collaborate—sharing resources, coordinating services, and strengthening referral relationships—patients are more likely to receive timely, complete care close to home.

That’s the approach we believe in.

Supporting Local Providers, Not Competing with Them

We deeply respect the medical community in Jennings and surrounding areas. Our intention is to:

❋ Complement existing services
❋ Fill gaps in access where they exist
❋ Help keep care local whenever possible

Strong local healthcare networks allow patients to receive a wide range of services without traveling long distances, improving both outcomes and quality of life.

By working alongside other providers, we can help ensure:

❋ Patients stay within their community for care
❋ Providers can focus on what they do best
❋ The overall system works more smoothly for everyone

Still Reaching Patients Beyond the Clinic

We also recognize that care doesn’t always happen inside four walls.

Through HWMD, you can choose:

Telehealth services
Pop-up clinics and community events
❋ Partnerships with local organizations

We aim to meet patients where they are—literally and figuratively.

Research shows that partnerships with trusted community spaces and organizations can help reach patients who might otherwise delay or avoid care, improving trust and access over time.

This is especially important in rural areas, where barriers like transportation, time, and awareness can prevent people from getting the care they need.
